Southside

Southside, which is home to Windsor Arms, Timberland, Ridgewood and Edgewater Trace , is the commercial heart of Savannah. Nearby are two major shopping destinations, Oglethorpe Mall & Savannah Mall. The area is also home to the majority of Savannah's movie theaters as well as a wide range of excellent restaurants, grocery stores and other neighborhood convenience outlets. Some notable area employers include Hunter Army Airfield, Memorial Health University Medical Center, Armstrong Atlantic State University and St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital.

Eastside

Eastside, the location of Alhambra , is the gateway via palm tree-lined Victory Drive (US Highway 80) to Savannah's beautiful coast, including the islands of Wilmington and Whitemarsh, and beautiful Tybee Beach (also known as Savannah Beach). Here you'll find historic Savannah State University, convenient shopping, dining and entertainment and easy access to downtown & Southside.
